3-star family-run hotel with historic 1636 buildings overlooking Grouville Bay
Historic Character & Coastal Location
The Beausite Hotel sits on the eastern shore of Jersey, overlooking Grouville Bay and 300 metres from the first tee of Royal Jersey Golf Course. Original farm buildings dating to 1636 form part of the hotel, with a cocktail bar located in this historic section. Award-winning gardens provide a tranquil outdoor setting, and Mont Orgueil Castle is a short walk from the property.
Rooms & Self-Catering Apartments
All rooms are en-suite with comfortable beds, a TV with satellite channels, and tea/coffee facilities. Self-catering apartments offer home-like flexibility with a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, available for longer stays or family needs. Some ground-floor rooms open directly onto the garden, and rooms with sea views look toward Gorey Castle.
Dining & Bars
The hotel's chef prepares dishes using local Jersey ingredients, served in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast includes cooked options, fresh fruit, pastries, and cereals, while the evening menu offers fish and seafood alongside a Sunday roast. The cocktail bar in the 1636 building serves wine and champagne, and snacks such as sandwiches and salads are available outside restaurant hours.
Wellness & Leisure Facilities
An indoor heated swimming pool, open all year, and two saunas are available for guest relaxation. The fitness centre is equipped for workouts, and a games room includes billiards and board games. Sun loungers set in the award-winning gardens offer a place to rest between swims.
Family-Friendly Amenities & Practical Services
Kids' meals are available in the restaurant, and babysitting or child services can be arranged on request. Board games and puzzles are provided, and packed lunches can be prepared for day trips. Free hotel parking and bicycle storage are offered, and a bus stop outside the entrance provides regular services to St Helier.
