Somerville Hotel in St Aubin

Somerville Hotel sits on a hillside with uninterrupted views of St Aubin's Bay and the harbour below. The sandy expanse of St Aubin's Bay and the sheltered cove of Belcroute are within minutes on foot. From the terrace and pool area guests see the lights of St Helier across the bay at night.

The Tides restaurant serves fresh seafood and locally sourced seasonal dishes prepared by Chef Steve. A tasting menu is available in Tides, and the Voyager Curiosity Lounge Bar offers unique cocktails from barman Pedro. Breakfast includes a continental buffet with an à la carte cooked menu, and afternoon tea requires 24-hour advance booking.

All rooms are individually designed and luxuriously furnished, with some superior rooms offering partial sea views and balconies. The hotel is set within award-winning gardens that include a terrace with outdoor furniture and sun loungers. Garden rooms have a private shared patio, while inland rooms are compact but spotlessly clean.

The heated outdoor swimming pool is open from May to September, with towels and sun loungers provided on the terrace. Bicycle rental is available for exploring the local coastal paths and beaches. Evening entertainment and board games are offered in the lounge, and a shared TV area is also accessible.

Elizabeth Castle in St Helier and the Jersey War Tunnels museum are a short bus ride from the hotel. La Corbière lighthouse and local beaches are within cycling distance, and the bus stop at the bottom of the hill connects to the airport and capital. The hotel has free on-site parking, a 24-hour front desk, and a concierge service for tour bookings.
